UI/UX design
Research, flows, interface design and a design system built as tokens and components rather than as a picture of one. Design and engineering run as one motion here, so what ships is what was designed — not a developer’s best guess at it.
The problem
Design usually arrives as a file and leaves as an interpretation. The handover loses the spacing, the states nobody drew, and the reason behind the layout — and six months later the product has four button styles and no one can say which is correct.
How we work on it
We design the empty state, the loading state, the error state and the too-much-data state, because those are most of what a real user sees and they are what a static mockup silently omits.
The design system ships as code — tokens that are the same declaration as the utilities built from them, so a colour and its usage cannot drift apart. A palette change is one file, not an audit.
Accessibility is a design constraint. Contrast ratios, focus order, target sizes and keyboard paths are settled during design, where they cost nothing, rather than in a remediation sprint where they cost everything.
What this includes
- User research and usability testing
- Information architecture and user flows
- Interface and interaction design
- Design systems delivered as code
- Prototypes for testing before build
- Accessibility review to WCAG 2.2 AA
What you end up with
- An interface tested on real users before it is built
- A design system your team keeps building on
- One coherent product instead of four button styles
- Accessibility built in, not bolted on
What we build it with
- Figma
- Design tokens
- Storybook
- WCAG 2.2 AA
