Mobile app development
Cross-platform apps built with React Native and Expo, with native modules where the platform genuinely requires them. We handle the part most people underestimate: store review, signing, staged rollout, crash reporting and the update cadence that keeps an app alive after launch.
The problem
A mobile app is two products, two review processes and two release cycles pretending to be one project. Teams budget for the build and not for the eighteen months after it, then discover that an app nobody updates is an app that stops working when the OS moves.
How we work on it
One codebase across iOS and Android, with native modules only where the platform actually demands them. Two separate native builds is a decision that has to be earned by a real requirement, not assumed at the start.
Offline behaviour, permissions and deep links are designed early, because they are architectural. Retrofitting offline support into an app that assumed a connection is close to a rewrite.
We take the app through store review ourselves and hand over a release pipeline: signing, staged rollout, crash reporting and over-the-air updates for the changes that do not need a review.
What this includes
- iOS and Android from one React Native codebase
- Offline-first data and background sync
- Push notifications and deep linking
- App Store and Google Play submission and review
- Crash reporting, analytics and staged rollout
- In-app purchases and subscriptions
What you end up with
- One app, two stores, one team maintaining it
- A release pipeline your team can run without us
- Crash and adoption numbers visible per release
- An app that survives the next OS version
What we build it with
- React Native
- Expo
- TypeScript
